Wil’s Final Wishes

I received a note today from Wil Kyle’s son that his wishes were for a cremation only and that his ashes be scattered back in Maui which Rob and his wife are going to do next year.

Wil’s final request was that all his friends celebrate his birthday on November 13th with a toast.  Wil always remembered our birthdays and a toast on that day would be a fitting closure to this mans life.

We will remember Wil on 13th November.

I used to forget his birthday occasionally but he never forgot mine.

I’ll do that. It is a simple request that is easily fulfilled and certainly costs less than going to Maui – which I think I would gladly do. 🙂

Actually, his son said his last request was for all his friends to try and gather in Maui for a party on his birthday but realised the difficulty of that and so suggested the toast on that day.

A toast will be easy… but it would be just incredible to get to Maui !
