Oh No!

Many thanks to MM and those lovely comments on the last post.  They’re all true of course but she left out the humility bit.  Winking smile

Last weekend, we took the hour and a half trip to Lismore to see our beautiful niece, Laura, and her two equally beautiful children, Jack and Maddie.

I have an reputation for razzing up one little Muppet right on bed time which usually incurs the displeasure of mum.  Of course, I’m completely innocent of these charges as this video will attest as I haven’t done a thing to hype up the lad. Check out MP’s “Oh, no!” in the background at the end of the video.  That’s a parfait glass full of mousse heading south out of the fridge on to the tiled floor.  You are lucky it wasn’t me in the kitchen because it wouldn’t have been “Oh, no!”

Laura is a great amateur photographer even if she doesn’t say so herself.  We had a fierce electrical storm a few days back which gave us a fiery display even seen in Lismore.  Laura got her whopping great Nikon setup on her tripod and extended the exposure and came out with some great pics.  Check the slideshow here and the gallery here.

We’ve taken to starting some of our long rides along the Rail Trail from Swan Bay and today I decided to chuck in the chairs and some sangers so we could cool down in style.  Wonder what the workers of the world are up too.  Who cares!

Remember, not everything is black and white in this world.

Dear little Lismore… it’s our regular pitstop when travelling to see the family further west.

We always call in at the Flour Boys Bakehouse, and check the Ship-in-Rip photo hanging behind the counter.

Good to see you again, Dogbait!

Good to see you back, RipSkater. Wondered where you were. We’ll be back Lismore way in the next few weeks and will check out that photo.
