746812637_64gmr-X3[1]Here is an update for the cyclone that crossed the north west coast and heading our way and we have some bad news.  This satellite image for today has just come through with the projections for Santa’s sleigh and it doesn’t look good.

All I can say Santa is I hope you have a sturdy seat belt and you’d better get some decent rain gear as you’re going to need it.

Boy-oh-boy looks likes you’re gonna get it, but then again it might just run out of steam before it reaches you. Here’s hopin’ Santa’s sleigh doesn’t get water logged and crash into your house.

AZ – As per usual, I’m probably getting too excited and it will hit that rain shadow. The web site has downgraded the amount of rain we are likely to get and on the news tonight, they said to build the Ark!

I was just looking through some weather records and the best rainfall for one day ever in Oz was 950mm (40″) in Queensland a few years ago. If we beat that, expect me to be floating past your house!

Arizona had dust storms, massive accidents due to dust and snow storms, the skies were so threatening today I just knew we were gonna get some rain, but alas we got zilch!

I think the same might be going to happen here too. You know, here and there will get some.

    awesome! bring on the arks!

Scott – Not sure we are going to need one at this stage. Maybe a tinny (see Aussie slang if not sure. Take your pick).

We’ve got moisture as well, but it is a bit more gentle this time around, oh and it’s colder too! We’ve got snow!

Peggy – We’ve heard all about your snow. Maybe a White Christmas?

You better take over for Santa, you’ve got the gear and the experience for this weather.

June – This might fizzle out yet.
