The Mighty Cats

Three defining moments in the AFL Grand Final won by the mighty Cats on Saturday.

Our second Premiership Cup in three years after a drought of 44 years.  For my uninitiated overseas readers, Geelong is the only regional country team in the Australian Football League and they did the town proud.

The defining moments…………………………..

A Snappy Chappie………………..

The Finish…………………….

The Cup Runneth Over……………………….

I have no idea what a snappy chappie is but it sounds like it’s now my new name for my penis…

I love watching the end zone refs do the double gunny thingy…

    Pow pow!

Scott – “snappy chappie” refers to Paul Chapman snapping a goal. Yes, those goal umps are paid for performance methinks.

/yawn AFL. Bleh! (Not that I like NRL any better)

    LOL at Scott.

Personally I stopped liking AFL when they stopped screening the Goal Umpire getting his flags out and waving them after every goal. That was the best thing about AFL.

Thomas – Sorry, can’t cater for all tastes.

I like those cute little shorts that they wear.

Shammy – I’m a bit worried about you Canadians and Americans.
