Where’s the Ark?

We got the call today and we pick up the new camper trailer in 2 weeks time.

However, we may not be able to leave on our trip as there has been major flooding throughout Australia and the drought is finally over.

Love that pic! Exciting news, lots of travel ahead. Just remember the Sept school holidays are coming up. You could either get away from the tourists coming here, or join them out on the road somewhere else – what a dilemma!

MM- Know about the holidays and planning around them.

Finally great news, congrats. Now to the e-mail,sadly most of it is true, hilarious but true except the headless drivers in Florida. A little hint of grey hair can usually be seen wearing huge very dark glasses and they can usually be found halfway through the front window of the local Duncan Donuts having hit the accelerator instead of the brake.

June – Been to the USA four times and have seen it all.

Now you have to give the link to the “retirement tale” for the rest of your fans.

I thought it would be more of interest to you Yanks. Here it is if anyone else is interested.

What a pic, and what good eyesight to ‘see’ it. Wouldn’t it be great to think the drought actually was over, but that would be too good to be true! I will keep my fingers crossed that your Trailer will be there for you. After my experience I think I would be there waiting when it arrives, before anyone else has a chance to see it, and buy it!

muscat55 – I doubt whether they’d want to mess with an irate Dogbait if that happened.

    Loved your e-mail! 🙂

Strange how that puddle of water kinda resembles the shape of Oz.

    How’s Sammy doin’?

PD – And yours too. Sammy is well for a 14 year old cat. I went to take a photo of him for you and he even preformed better than expected so a blog coming up in a few minutes.

I to got a chuckle from your retirement email, but here’s the real truth concerning those statements:

    1. We never park 3 blocks away from our destination, we cruise around the parking lot until we find a spot right next to the door, because nobody wants to walk three blocks when it’s 120 degrees. Then after you park you have to put up your sun screen on the windshield, and then you crack open your windows just enough to let some air circulate so that your windows don’t crack in the heat, but not so open that someone can break into your vehicle.

    2. Now I’d totally disagree with item 2, but just the other day I watched a news story about a Phoenix suburb that was complaining because their cold water was coming out of the tap at 107 degrees, so maybe…

    3. Now this just ain’t true, the trip from my house to significant other’s Uncle’s house can be accomplished in two hours, that’s from one end of the valley to the other, now during rush hour it might take three hours, but never four.

    4. Every body knows that Mexicans don’t write anything down, nor do we use standard measure, so no authentic Mexican recipe can’t be written down, they are passed down.

    5. Okay, they got the dry heat thing right on the nose.

    6. As for item six, we do have seasons and two of them are to die for (winter/spring) the others (fall) has beautiful evenings and mornings but the days are still hot, and summer is killer, but what can you do?
