Brass Monkey Season

My lovely Windows 7 desktop isn’t the sole reason for showing you this.  Have a look at the weather gadget on the right.

You think we’d be going out for our run on 0.7c?  Had to wait 4 hours for that big red orb beside the temperature to warm things up a tad.

Somewhat a difference from the 46c in February!

0.7C? We Canadians reach for a pair of socks to wear with our sandals at that temperature.

Shammy – Considering it never goes below freezing here, 0.7 really hurts! Anyway, you guys live at the same latitudes as polar bears so what do you expect. We left Ottawa late September in 2002 and the roads were covered in snow and slush and that was early autumn!

Incidentally, socks with sandals is not considered a good look in this country.

Our temps have been 10 degrees below normal in Phoenix, Arizona. We’ve been in the high 90’s (37C) we’re besides ourselves with joy 🙂 , but I suspect this is only going to last a few more days 😦 !

AZ – I keep an eye of your weather and I usually just sizzle at the thought of those temperatures! We had to put up with 3 days in a row over 40 this summer and you guys have it for weeks on end.

    Ya big girlie!!!

Thiose are the mornings where you show off the argyle socks you got for Christmas but then they were too bloody hot to wear…
