No guts, no glory

Sorry, those smelling salts were a tad weak!  With a few things going on lately, I haven’t felt like blogging so hence the slight gap.

I finished a couple of weeks work and handed over my gear and back into retirement again.  Before you all say for how long, that of course, depends on me.  I don’t mind doing a bit here and there and I enjoyed the last stint even though it was long days.  I ended up doing 8 major car rounds and 5 walk rounds so 13 in nine days wasn’t slacking.

Just to fill in until I find something more useful to relate, have a look at the following antics.  Clip 1 here and clip 2 here.  Second one is a bit blurry as I zoomed through the glass door.

We put out dry cat food for the birds which they love and now you could either say that this maggie is stupid, courageous or very hungry or that Sammy is getting way too old to worry about anything other that his food bowl.

Sammy’s smart, what he’s doing in the video is baiting the trap for the next black cat in the neighborhood, that bird is going to assume that black cats are lazy and not good hunters, just wait the next time you see that bird it will be pile of feathers and feet!

AZ – That magpie was a juvenile with a thing or two to learn.

    June – Precisely

shammy – He’s too old and feeble like his owner!

Muppet’s Mum – We’ll take them but you’ll have to supply the birds.

Sammy is happy and well fed, it is so beneath him to chase a bird.

Little Maggie wants to be careful, or he might end up like this.

Good old Sammy, he obviously prefers your brand of cat food to raw maggie meat. And you don’t get a mouthful of those pesky feathers stuck between your teeth if you stick to cat food.

PS. Forgot to say – “Free to good home – two fleabags, cheap to feed”.
